Building raised garden beds at Zbora odposlancev elementary school

The method of gardening in elevated garden beds is increasingly popular in Slovenia, as it makes it possible to tend to the plants standing up, without crouching or bending. Besides that, raised garden beds, can be built in different shapes, which adds to visual appeal of the garden.

For all those reasons, we decided to build one at Zbora odposlancev elementary school on 12.5.2015. Janitor and three hardworking pupils from 6.a class, David Tivadar, Nik Grm and Tilen Zupanc helped us. Together they wielded picks and shovels and helped us carry raised gardens to the field.
